Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund minus service charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for card transactions

Conditions: Must be formally requested via email or phone communication

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 will be subtracted from the refund

Conditions: Legitimate reason necessary; administrative costs incurred

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No reimbursements are offered

Exception: Emergency situations might be taken into account

Alternative: A charter credit could be granted at the discretion of the management

Conditions: Evidence required for emergencies

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Safety is our priority. In the event the weather is deemed hazardous for sailing by our certified captain, we provide adaptable options:

  • Full Refund: Issued if rescheduling isn't viable
  • Reschedule: Shift the charter to another open date free of extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Credit available for 12 months from the original charter date

Weather Assessment Process

We evaluate the weather with the following:

  • Analysis of wind speed and trajectory
  • Sea conditions and wave size
  • Forecast of visibility and precipitation
  • Maritime advisories and alerts
  • Safety review by our professional captain

Decision Timeline: Determinations on weather cancellations are made a minimum of 4 hours ahead of the departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Exceptional Situations

We comprehend that medical emergencies can emerge unexpectedly. Instances that may be eligible for special considerations include:

  • Sudden hospitalized illness or injury
  • Immediate family member's death
  • Urgent military orders or deployment
  • Mandatory court appearance or jury service
  • Travel-hindering natural calamities

Proof Requirements

Emergency refund requests are to be accompanied by:

  • A medical statement or hospital reports
  • A death certificate if relevant
  • Official military directives
  • Jury summons or legal subpoenas
  • Emergency declarations or travel warnings

Processing: Handling of emergency reimbursements will occur within 3-5 business days following documentation submission.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Failures

If the designated ship encounters unsolvable mechanical issues:

  • Replacement Vessel: We endeavor to arrange a similar substitute
  • Full Refund: Issued if no suitable vessel is available
  • Partial Refund: Conferred if the replacement's cost differs
  • Compensation: Additional consideration offered for the inconvenience

Crew Absence

In extraordinary instances of crew unavailability:

  • Efforts made to provide an alternative team when feasible
  • Total refund if charter is unable to proceed
  • Option to reschedule at no additional fee

Reimbursement Method

Refunds will be made through the initial method of payment:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Charter Credits

Instances Credits Are Issued

Credits for charters may be provided as an alternative to money back in specific scenarios:

  • Non-timely cancellations (under 24 hours)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Voluntary requests for rescheduling
  • Disruptions in operations

Credit Specifications

  • Validity: 12 months from the date of issue
  • Non-transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to others
  • Amount: Entire value of the charter (free of service charges)
  • Usage: Redeemable on any future charters available
  • Expiry: No prolongation after 12 months

Partial Service Refunds

Charter Disruptions

In the event the charter is interrupted due to our control:

  • Amount refunded proportionate to the unused time
  • Credits for an upcoming charter of identical value
  • Complimentary services or enhancements

Disturbances Caused by Guests

Early terminated charters owing to guests' behavior or safety infractions:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining time
  • Full charge is still applicable
  • Possible additional costs

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement over a refund ruling, options include:

  • Ask for a supervisory review from our team
  • Submission of extra evidence or documents
  • Seeking assistance from consumer protection entities
  • Legal actions as per the jurisdiction's laws

We will acknowledge your claim within a day, evaluate it based on the stated policy, make a determination within 2 days, and proceed with approved reimbursements according to the times specified.

  • All requests for refunds must be formally made
  • Reimbursements are made in € irrespective of the original payment's currency
  • Acquiring travel insurance is highly advised
  • The policy is amendable with an advanced notice of 30 days
  • Refunds are subject to relevant tax laws and regulations
